G2 has successfully advanced to the grand final of the FISSURE Playground 3 after defeating BETBOOM in a closely contested semifinal match, finishing with a score of 2-1. The match unfolded across three maps: Mirage, Anubis, and Ancient, with G2 showcasing resilience and skill throughout.

BETBOOM initially took control of the series, establishing a 7-2 lead on Mirage. However, G2's Matúš "MATYS" Šimko made significant contributions, narrowing the gap before BETBOOM ultimately claimed the map 13-7, thanks to a clutch play from Kirill "Magnojez" Rodnov.

The second map, Anubis, proved to be a nail-biter. G2 started strong on their T side but faced a fierce comeback from BETBOOM, culminating in a tense overtime. It was G2's Guy "NertZ" Iluz who turned the tide with a crucial 1vs3 clutch, allowing G2 to secure the deciding map, Ancient.

NertZ was instrumental in G2's victory, delivering standout performances with a 1.62 rating on Anubis and a 1.54 rating on Ancient. His contributions included 21 kills and an impressive 110.5 ADR, solidifying his role in G2's journey to the grand final.

In the championship match, G2 will face Legacy, who have recently claimed two titles in China over the past year. This matchup promises to be an exciting showdown as G2 aims for the trophy.
