Mets Minor League Update: Amick Homers, Pitre Continues Strong Play

In the latest round of minor league action, Mets prospects Billy Amick and Emilien Pitre stood out with notable performances. Pitre, playing for Triple-A Syracuse, recorded two hits against the St. Paul Saints, finishing the game 2-for-4 with a walk, two runs scored, and an RBI. Since joining Syracuse, the 23-year-old has been impressive, boasting a .292 batting average and an .802 OPS over 18 games.

Amick, also with Syracuse, hit his seventh home run since joining the team, marking his 14th home run in the Mets organization this season. The 23-year-old's home run came on an 0-2 pitch with a runner on first base, contributing to a 7-3 lead for Syracuse. Despite a .221 batting average in Triple-A, Amick maintains a solid .844 OPS, showcasing his power with a total of 37 home runs across 116 games this season.

Another prospect making waves is 25-year-old Kevin Parada, who is enjoying a strong second stint in Triple-A. After struggling previously, Parada is now hitting .298 with a .375 on-base percentage and .452 slugging percentage, including two home runs and 16 RBIs in 28 games since his promotion. In his latest game, he went 1-for-3 but committed a throwing error, his third of the season.

Meanwhile, 21-year-old Voit extended his hitting streak to five games with a 1-for-4 performance for the Rumble Ponies. Despite being caught stealing and making a throwing error, Voit has been impressive since his promotion to Double-A, hitting .347 with a .947 OPS over 29 games.
