Lakers Strengthen Front Office with Two New Hires

D'Amelio joins the Lakers after serving as the chief innovation officer for the New York Liberty. His background includes roles with the Toronto Raptors and Boston Celtics, as well as experience in health and performance analytics. His expertise will contribute to the Lakers' focus on optimizing player performance and health.

These hires come at a time of transition for the Lakers, following the recent sale of the team to Bob Iger and Joshua Kushner. Lakers president Rob Pelinka emphasized the importance of investing in basketball operations to ensure long-term success for the organization.
