Liquid, TYLOO, DENDELE, and Nemiga Earn Final Spots for PGL Masters Bucharest
20 hours agoThe lineup for the PGL Masters Bucharest is now complete, following the conclusion of regional qualifiers in Europe, South America, North America, and Asia. The final four teams to qualify are Nemiga, DENDELE, Liquid, and TYLOO, all set to compete for a share of the $1,250,000 prize pool.
Nemiga showcased an impressive performance in the European qualifiers, going undefeated throughout their matches. They achieved victories over teams such as Inner Circle, SINNERS, 1win, and B8, culminating in a decisive 3-0 sweep against B8 in the finals to secure their spot in the tournament.
In South America, DENDELE also advanced without losing a match, defeating Turma do Pagode, Imperial, and Fluxo on two occasions. Liquid faced a tougher path in North America, managing a narrow victory against Marsborne in the upper semifinals but then falling to NRG in the consolidation final. However, they rallied back with a reverse-sweep against Voca and overcame a 1-2 deficit against NRG, ultimately securing their place at the event.
TYLOO dominated the Asia qualifiers, defeating DEPO in the grand final, while DEPO had previously eliminated FlyQuest to reach that stage. The PGL Masters Bucharest is set to take place from October 24 to 31, serving as a significant opportunity for teams to solidify their qualifications for the upcoming PGL Major Singapore, with the invite cut-off approaching on November 2.
