Legacy and BETBOOM Advance to FISSURE Playground 3 Semi-Finals

Legacy and BETBOOM have successfully advanced to the semi-finals of the FISSURE Playground 3 by winning their respective upper bracket finals in the group stage.

Legacy faced off against FURIA in a closely contested derby, with both teams ending the first halves of Mirage and Ancient at 6-6. However, Legacy showcased their strength on the T side of Mirage and the CT side of Ancient, preventing FURIA from reaching double digits on either map. Key performances came from Bruno "latto" Rebelatto and Vinicius "n1ssim" Pereira, both achieving ratings above 1.30, while Eduardo "dumau" Wolkmer contributed with a 1.10 rating in the series.

Meanwhile, BETBOOM disrupted MIBR's hopes of having two Brazilian-majority teams in the semi-finals. On Mirage, BETBOOM initially trailed 5-7 at halftime but dominated the second half, winning 13-9. In the following match on Anubis, MIBR again took an early lead at 8-4, but BETBOOM fought back to tie the game after 24 rounds and ultimately won in overtime with a score of 16-14.

The playoffs are set to feature a strong Brazilian presence, with half of the top six teams showcasing Brazilian cores. MIBR and FURIA will be positioned on opposite sides of the quarter-finals bracket, while Legacy and BETBOOM will compete in the semi-finals. The final two teams from the group stage will be determined by the conclusion of the lower-bracket finals later in the matchday.
