TYLOO Advances to IEM Beijing After FlyQuest Forfeits Final

TYLOO has officially secured their place at IEM Beijing 2026 after FlyQuest was forced to forfeit the grand final match. This decision came as a result of physical damage to the connection between Australia and Singapore, leading to unplayable ping levels exceeding 200ms.

FlyQuest announced the unfortunate news on X, stating, "Unfortunately, our grand final match will not be played. The physical connection between Australia and Singapore is damaged resulting in ping that is unplayable. The venue has multiple redundant ISPs, but this issue is affecting all traffic from Australia to Asia. With TYLOO attending FISSURE tomorrow, there is no avenue to reschedule."

This marks the second time TYLOO has benefited from a forfeit in the tournament, having previously advanced past the upper bracket final when Rare Atom withdrew due to a scheduling conflict with the FPG 3 qualifier.

Prior to these forfeits, TYLOO had demonstrated their skill by defeating Kaleido and DEPO in the initial rounds of the closed qualifier.

With TYLOO's qualification, the roster for IEM Beijing is now nearly complete, with 14 of the 16 teams confirmed. The remaining two spots will be filled through an online Closed Qualifier in Europe.
