His championship experience from the Nuggets' 2023 title run and ability to defend multiple positions make him an appealing option for teams in need of depth.

Despite the Lakers' interest, Siegel expresses skepticism about their chances, indicating that the Knicks could provide a compelling opportunity for Brown. He likens Brown's potential role with New York to that of Josh Hart, emphasizing his ability to contribute defensively and adapt to various roles on a team aiming for another championship.

The Lakers have already made several offseason additions focused on improving their defense and roster balance. However, concerns about frontcourt depth and size persist, leading them to explore options like Dwight Powell and other veteran big men.
