Blue Jays Activate Taillon, Option Tiedemann Back to Minors

Jameson Taillon has rejoined the Toronto Blue Jays roster and is set to make his start tonight. Taillon had been sidelined due to forearm tendinitis but returned sooner than expected after a short stint on the injured list. In his previous two starts for the Jays, he allowed three runs over eight innings, though he did struggle with control, issuing five walks.

In a corresponding move, the Blue Jays have optioned rookie pitcher Ricky Tiedemann back to the minors. There was hope that Tiedemann would remain with the big league club for a longer duration, given his potential as a top prospect. However, the team has decided to give him more time in the minors for development.

As the Jays prepare for tonight's game, they have made some adjustments to their lineup. Notably, Charles McAdoo will take the field at second base, with Clement starting at shortstop. The absence of Keyes from the lineup has raised some questions, but the coaching staff appears to be sticking with familiar players as they aim for a win.
