Brewers Rally Past Cubs with Power Hitting, Overcoming Errors

However, the focus shifted to the Brewers' offensive struggles in the fourth inning when a mental lapse led to a costly out, halting their momentum.

The Cubs capitalized on the Brewers' mistakes, taking a 3-0 lead after a series of hits, including a two-run double from former Brewer Tyrone Taylor. Gasser's inability to secure a catch only compounded the Brewers' woes, allowing another run to score.

In the fifth inning, the Brewers began to find their rhythm, with Luis Lara and Joey Ortiz delivering crucial hits. Cooper Pratt's single marked the Brewers' first run, narrowing the Cubs' lead to 3-1.
