Maden Replaces Tauson for GamerLegion in IEM Beijing Qualifier
13 days agoGamerLegion has announced that Pavle "Maden" Bošković will substitute for Sebastian "Tauson" Tauson Lindelof in the upcoming IEM Beijing closed qualifier. Tauson is unable to participate due to health-related issues, according to the organization.
The online tournament is scheduled from September 2-4 and features a total of 16 teams competing for two coveted spots at the IEM Beijing event in November. The competition will utilize a double-elimination format, with GamerLegion set to face Nuclear TigeRES in their first match.
As the second-highest-ranked team in the tournament according to HLTV, GamerLegion had high expectations for this qualifier. However, the last-minute change in their roster may impact their chances of securing one of the two available spots.
This qualifier is particularly significant for GamerLegion, as it represents one of the last major opportunities for the team this year, with only the FISSURE Playground 3 tournament on the horizon.
