hAdji Retires from Professional Play, Eyes Future in Team Management

Ali "hAdji" Haïnouss has officially announced his retirement from professional Counter-Strike, concluding a career that began in 2015. In a statement shared on social media, he expressed gratitude for his years in the competitive scene and emphasized his decision to step back from playing.

hAdji gained recognition while playing for Envy's academy team before being promoted to the main roster in February 2018. Throughout his career, he represented several organizations, including 3DMAX, LDLC, Falcons, and Monte, showcasing his skills on various stages.

One of his notable achievements came during the CAC 2018, where he helped Envy secure a 3-4th place finish at a significant LAN event. After leaving 3DMAX in March 2024, hAdji had two stints with Monte and also played for DRILLAS before co-founding the organization-less project illwill with Volodymyr "Woro2k" Veletniuk in October 2025.

Most recently, hAdji participated in the Esports Nations Cup open qualifier in July, contributing to a Moroccan team that included players like Adil "ScreaM" Benrlitom and Nabil "Nivera" Benrlitom, which successfully clinched a spot in the tournament.

Despite stepping away from active competition, hAdji remains passionate about the game and is eager to leverage his experience and work ethic in a potential staff role within an esports organization.
