Chase Lumpkin Narrows College Choices to Six Schools

Chase Lumpkin, a highly regarded four-star shooting guard from McEachern High School in Georgia, has reduced his list of college options to six schools. The 6-foot-4 rising senior is considering Alabama, Arkansas, Kentucky, Louisville, Michigan, and USC as he approaches his decision.

Lumpkin has already completed an official visit to Michigan and an unofficial visit to Alabama. He is set to take an official visit to USC this weekend, followed by another official visit to Alabama on September 19th.

Ranked as the No. 30 overall recruit in the 2027 class and the No. 8 point guard according to Rivals Industry Ranking, Lumpkin has also received offers from a variety of other schools, including Auburn, Georgia Tech, and UCLA among others.

During the recent Nike EYBL Circuit, Lumpkin showcased his skills by averaging 17.3 points, 5.7 rebounds, 4.5 assists, and 2.2 steals per game while playing for Jet Academy. His performance has drawn attention from recruiting analysts, who highlight his confidence and ability to create scoring opportunities.

In a previous interview, Lumpkin expressed his desire to find a program that would facilitate his development into a professional player, emphasizing the importance of a supportive coaching staff. His standout performances this summer have solidified his reputation as a promising talent in the sport.
