Durant highlighted the accolades of the Nets players, stating that they had already achieved significant accomplishments in their careers. He argued that while the Golden State Warriors had Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson, at the time, their accolades were not as pronounced, which led him to initially overlook the Warriors.

However, after further reflection, Durant corrected himself, acknowledging that the Warriors were indeed the best team he had been a part of. He specifically mentioned the 2019 Warriors, discussing how injuries, including DeMarcus Cousins' absence, affected his initial assessment.

Durant expressed regret over not winning a championship with the Nets, emphasizing that the atmosphere would have been electric had they succeeded. He noted that the team's inability to advance was largely due to injuries rather than a lack of talent, as he tried to lead the team against the Milwaukee Bucks in the playoffs.
