In a stunning display, Inner Circle triumphed over Vitality with a decisive 2-0 victory in their opening match at the BLAST Open Porto Group B. The matches took place on Anubis and Cache, with Inner Circle securing the wins with scores of 13-8 and 16-13 respectively, advancing through the upper bracket.

Arseniy "cptkurtka023" Derevinskiy was the standout player, achieving a remarkable 1.58 rating across the series. He highlighted the team's performance, stating it was their prime game, and they executed their strategies effectively.

The match began on Anubis, where Inner Circle quickly established dominance, racing to a 7-1 lead before Vitality managed to narrow the gap to two rounds by halftime. However, Inner Circle maintained their momentum in the second half, clinching the map with a 13-8 finish.

Moving to Cache, Vitality initially took control, winning six of the first seven rounds on the CT side. Yet, they faltered as Inner Circle mounted a comeback, leveling the score at 12-12. In the ensuing overtime, Inner Circle capitalized on two quick entries to secure the map and the series.

Vitality's struggles were compounded by a poor performance from Mathieu "ZywOo" Herbaut, who recorded his lowest series rating in CS2 at 0.78, contributing to the team's early exit to the lower bracket.
