3DMAX Players Speak Out on Unpaid Salaries and Team Struggles

Members of the esports organization 3DMAX have publicly acknowledged long-standing issues related to unpaid salaries, which they say have adversely affected their performance. The situation was highlighted by reports indicating that the organization owes over €1,500,000 to players, staff, and other parties.

Bryan "Maka" Canda, along with former coaches Pierre "YouKnow" Marco and Damien "wasiNk" Dufour, shared their experiences on social media, emphasizing the pressure of competing under such financial uncertainty. Maka noted that while competition pressure is typical, the financial strain has been overwhelming for the team.

YouKnow explained that while he did receive payments during his tenure, they were merely to catch up on overdue amounts rather than current wages, leaving him feeling unpaid for much of his time as head coach. Similarly, wasiNk pointed out that the financial stress contributed to performance issues during critical matches, as players were burdened by the fear of not being compensated for their efforts.
