Warriors Add Veteran Shooter Georges Niang to Final Roster Spot

The Golden State Warriors have officially signed veteran forward Georges Niang, completing their roster for the upcoming season. Known for his sharpshooting ability, Niang, affectionately nicknamed "The Minivan," brings a career three-point shooting percentage of 39.9% to the team.

At 33 years old, Niang is expected to play a key role as a stretch-four off the bench, providing valuable perimeter shooting and veteran experience to complement the Warriors' core lineup. His addition is seen as a strategic move to enhance the team's offensive versatility.

Niang missed the entire 2025–26 season due to recovery from a left foot injury but arrives in the Bay Area fully healthy and ready to make an impact.
