donk Achieves Milestone as Spirit Defeats DENDELE in BLAST Opener

Danil "donk" Kryshkovets has made history by becoming the first player to achieve 20 aces at HTLV MVP events in Counter-Strike 2 (CS2). This milestone was reached just three days after his team, Spirit, claimed the Esports World Cup title in Paris. In their opening match of the BLAST Open Porto, Spirit secured a convincing 2-0 victory against DENDELE, winning 13-8 on Ancient and 13-7 on Cache.

In the match, donk delivered two aces on Cache, one of which was particularly noteworthy as he dealt 500 damage without taking any in return during the first pistol round. This remarkable feat has only been accomplished three times previously at HLTV-caliber events. Among those who have achieved similar rounds is DENDELE's João "koala" Pfeffer, who performed a pistol ace against TYLOO during the IEM Cologne Major.

Beyond his aces, donk's overall performance was outstanding. He led the scoreboard on Ancient with 24 kills and a 1.97 rating, recording 125.1 ADR and a +7.79% round swing. He followed this up with another impressive showing on Cache, matching his 24 kills and achieving a 2.34 rating, 133.9 ADR, and a +10.94% round swing.

Looking ahead, Spirit is set to face G2 in the Group A upper semi-final, aiming for a spot at the Super Bock Arena in Porto. Meanwhile, DENDELE will need to regroup as they prepare to battle Aurora in the lower bracket to stay in the tournament.
