20 days agoLuminosity Esports has confirmed the addition of Alexander "kakafu" Szymanczyk as the team's head coach. The announcement follows kakafu's previous involvement with the squad during the XSE Pro League in Guangzhou and the Esports World Cup, where he showcased his tactical expertise.
Kakafu previously played with the Monte roster, which competed at the IEM Cologne Major. His transition to Luminosity comes after the team parted ways with their in-game leader, Jack "Gizmy" von Spreckelsen, and now he reunites with former teammates.
This coaching change follows a recent decision by Luminosity to bench Aurimas "Bymas" Pipiras, just two months after acquiring the ex-Monte roster. The team is looking to strengthen its performance as it moves forward with kakafu at the helm.
