yxngstxr Leaves HEROIC for New Opportunities
21 days agoHEROIC has officially announced the exit of Simon "yxngstxr" Boije, who is set to pursue new opportunities in his esports career. The Swedish player joined the organization in 2025 and took on various roles within the team.
yxngstxr returned to the active roster at the beginning of 2026 to fill the AWP position after teammate Alimzhan "Alkaren" Bitimbay faced visa challenges. His performance as a sniper was instrumental in helping HEROIC secure a spot in Stage 1 of the IEM Cologne Major, where he maintained an average rating of 1.00 throughout the season.
After stepping down during a summer roster overhaul, yxngstxr transitioned to an inactive role. He has since participated as a stand-in for EYEBALLERS in the BLAST Bounty 2026 Season 2 and has also competed with the Raccoons mix-team in various online tournaments.
