Luminosity Esports Benches Bymas After Poor Performances
21 days agoLuminosity Esports has announced the benching of Lithuanian player Aurimas "Bymas" Pipiras, just a month after he joined the team. This decision comes on the heels of two consecutive last-place finishes at the XSE Pro League Guangzhou and the Esports World Cup.
The organization made its return to Counter-Strike in July by signing the former Monte roster, which included Bymas along with Lucas "lux" Meneghini, who took on the role of in-game leader. However, the team struggled to find their footing, failing to replicate their previous success from the Cologne Major, where they had been coached by Jack "Gizmy" von Spreckelsen.
In a statement on social media, Bymas expressed gratitude for the opportunity to represent Luminosity and conveyed disappointment over his recent performances. He acknowledged the close bonds he formed with his teammates and expressed a commitment to improving his gameplay moving forward.
