Cris Cyborg Extends Career After Narrow Victory, Calls Out Claressa Shields

The match, which went the full five rounds, was a challenging one for Cyborg, who struggled to dominate her heavier opponent. Vieira, who missed weight and was ineligible for the PFL title, kept a relentless pace and even managed to stagger Cyborg with powerful hooks in the latter part of the second round. Ultimately, all three judges awarded the fight to Cyborg.
Post-fight, the 41-year-old expressed her readiness to face any opponent, declaring, "I'm ready for anybody. Eight years undefeated. I’m ready for anybody. Any time, any weight." Cyborg also directed her attention to boxing champion Claressa Shields, accusing her of avoiding a fight, and suggested they could meet at middleweight if Shields adjusted her weight.
In addition to Shields, Cyborg called out former PFL lightweight champion Kayla Harrison, who recently transitioned to the UFC, challenging her to step up and compete against her.
On the undercard, British fighter Luke Trainer achieved a significant victory by stopping Roland Dunlap in the second round of their light-heavyweight bout, marking his sixth consecutive win. Other notable victories included Afghan-born Javid Basharat and Irish welterweight Eoin Sheridan at the event.
