Legacy Defeats Falcons, Advances to EWC Semifinals

In a decisive quarter-final match at the Esports World Cup, Legacy triumphed over Falcons with a score of 2-0, eliminating the Finnish team from the tournament. This victory marks Legacy's second consecutive win against Falcons, having previously defeated them in the CS Asia Championships grand final.

The series commenced on Mirage, where Legacy initially struggled against a strong performance from Ilya "m0NESY" Osipov. However, after losing the first pistol round, Legacy quickly regained momentum, turning a 5-7 deficit into a commanding lead and securing the map 13-7.

On Dust2, Legacy started strong on the CT side but faced early challenges as Falcons took an initial lead. Nevertheless, Legacy's players, particularly Vinicius "n1ssim" Pereira and Santino "try" Rigal, rallied to secure a 7-5 lead at halftime.

In the second half, Legacy continued their strong performance, winning the first four pistol rounds. Despite a brief resurgence from Falcons, Legacy regained control with a crucial double kill from Bruno "latto" Rebelatto, ultimately sealing their victory and advancing to the semifinals.
