Falcons' TeSeS: Team Aiming for More Than Just Major Success

The Falcons have faced challenges at the start of their season following their IEM Cologne Major win, suffering an unexpected defeat to 100 Thieves that led to an early exit from the BLAST Bounty tournament. René "TeSeS" Madsen acknowledged that the team lacked proper warm-up and practice, which contributed to their poor performance.

However, the team has rebounded impressively at the Esports World Cup, achieving four consecutive map victories to secure a spot in the playoffs. TeSeS believes that the loss to 100 Thieves ultimately motivated the team to work harder and improve their game.

"It was a tough match to lose and it was very annoying," TeSeS stated. "But it kind of made us grind this much harder to come back. So maybe it was, all in all, a much-needed thing for us to wake up again." He emphasized that the team is eager to achieve more than just a Major title, expressing a strong desire to win various tournaments.

Reflecting on their group stage performance, TeSeS noted the team's improved mentality compared to their earlier matches. He acknowledged some struggles against Astralis but praised their overall effort in the playoffs. The team is now focused on maintaining their momentum and continuing to build on their success.
