The Yankees also brought in Luis García Jr. to enhance their lineup, but the former National has struggled to find his footing, slugging only .381 in his limited time with the team. This lack of production from first base is particularly concerning for a lineup that is already missing key players like Judge, Cody Bellinger, and Giancarlo Stanton.

Despite the recent struggles, the Yankees' first basemen still hold an overall wRC+ of 128 for the season, ranking eighth in the league. However, their performance has significantly deteriorated over the past few months.
