Knicks Replace Robinson with Drummond: Impact on Championship Aspirations

The New York Knicks have made a significant roster change, allowing center Mitchell Robinson to join the Boston Celtics on a three-year, $47.4 million deal. In his place, the Knicks have signed veteran center Andre Drummond to a one-year contract worth $3.9 million.

At 33 years old, Drummond brings a wealth of experience as a two-time All-Star, but he is generally considered a step down from Robinson. Nonetheless, Drummond's skills align with the Knicks' strategy, particularly in offensive rebounding, where he ranked fifth in offensive rebound rate last season.
