Mark Few Joins Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame Class of 2026

Mark Few, the head coach of Gonzaga University, has been honored with induction into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame as part of the Class of 2026. Few has played a pivotal role in transforming Gonzaga into a national basketball powerhouse.

Under Few's leadership, Gonzaga has made significant strides, including appearances in the NCAA championship games in 2017 and 2021. His tenure has seen the Bulldogs qualify for the NCAA Tournament for 25 consecutive years, a remarkable achievement in college basketball.

Few's coaching career spans 26 seasons, during which he has amassed an impressive record of 773 wins against 156 losses. His teams have secured 23 West Coast Conference regular-season titles and 21 conference tournament championships, showcasing his consistent success.

Notably, Few holds the highest winning percentage among Division I men's college basketball coaches. Since taking over the program in 1999, Gonzaga has won 20 or more games each season, further solidifying his legacy in the sport.

In addition to his collegiate achievements, Few served as an assistant coach for the U.S. Olympic men's basketball team that won gold in 2024, adding to his extensive coaching credentials. His induction into the Hall of Fame marks a significant milestone in his illustrious career.
