Cleveland Browns fans are renowned for their unwavering loyalty, often considered among the best in the NFL. However, as the 2026 season approaches, their optimism appears to be waning, reflecting a broader sentiment of uncertainty surrounding the team's performance.

According to the NFL Hope Index for 2026, a significant portion of Browns supporters are not expecting much from their team this year. Approximately 65% of fans predict that the Browns will secure between four to six wins, while 19% are slightly more optimistic, anticipating seven to nine victories. Meanwhile, 15% foresee a dismal outcome of three wins or fewer.

This lack of hope is not unique to Cleveland, as only the Baltimore Ravens rank in the Top 10 of hopeful fanbases, with the other teams in the AFC North, including the Browns, positioned 18th or lower. This trend highlights the challenges faced by the franchise and the tempered expectations of its supporters.
