Westbrook's statement in the video was brief, stating, "Sometimes you don’t even know when you’ve already watched the end." This marks the conclusion of his 18-season career in the NBA, during which he became known as the league's reigning triple-double king.

In his final season, Westbrook played 64 games for the Sacramento Kings, starting in 58 of them. He averaged 15.8 points, 6.7 assists, 5.4 rebounds, and 1.3 steals per game, showcasing his continued productivity on the court.
