On the pitching front, Frisco's Joey Danielson impressed by striking out the side in his inning of work. Teammate Thomas Ireland also had a notable performance, striking out two batters while allowing no runs over two innings. Josh Trentadue contributed by allowing one run and issuing a walk in his inning on the mound.
For Round Rock, Ryan Lobus stood out with three strikeouts in 1.1 innings of scoreless pitching.
