Illinois Alumni Poised for Impactful NBA Season Ahead

With the NBA season approaching, former Illinois basketball stars Ayo Dosunmu and Terrence Shannon Jr. are gearing up for significant roles with the Minnesota Timberwolves. Although no Illinois alumni will take the court on opening night, Dosunmu and Shannon Jr. will feature in the Timberwolves' second game against the Miami Heat on October 21. This matchup will be broadcast on ESPN, kicking off a night that includes the Warriors facing the Lakers.
