BIG Advances Closer to EWC Playoffs with Win Over Aurora

BIG is now just one match away from qualifying for the EWC playoffs after defeating Aurora in their opening best-of-one matchup. The German-majority team demonstrated their prowess, building on a successful performance in the last chance qualifier where they only dropped one map, led by Gleb "gr1ks" Gazin, who achieved an impressive 1.58 rating.

In the match on Cache, BIG's pace and teamwork proved too much for Aurora, who struggled to keep up. Although Aurora managed to win both pistol rounds, they were unable to capitalize in the gun rounds, ultimately losing 13-9, a score that did not fully reflect the dominance displayed by BIG.

Aurora's Jimi "Jimpphat" Salo faced challenges throughout the game, notably with a significant 2v1 loss against Josef "faveN" Baumann at a critical moment when Aurora could have turned the tide.
