Roland "ultimate" Tomkowiak Joins Betclic as New AWPer
34 days agoRoland "ultimate" Tomkowiak has officially joined Betclic, stepping into the team's vacant AWPer role after departing from Liquid. The 22-year-old, who previously made headlines with his aggressive AWPing style, had joined Liquid in July 2024 but struggled with form, leading to his replacement by Georgi "Jorko" Mitev this summer.
Tomkowiak has already integrated into Betclic's roster, having played for Poland this summer and contributing to their qualification for the Esports Nations Cup. The Polish team recently celebrated a victory at the Stake Pulse event, defeating Jorko and Liquid in the grand final of a $60,000 LAN tournament.
In light of some recent roster changes, Betclic has also renewed contracts for players Wojciech "Prism" Zięba and Patryk "Demho" Tomaszewski. With Tomkowiak now on board, the team aims to strengthen their lineup after the departure of Olek "hades" Miskiewicz.
Currently ranked 46th in the VRS, ultimate is expected to leverage this opportunity at Betclic to regain the form that initially caught Liquid's attention two summers ago.
