$10,000 Fantasy Season Kicks Off with 32 Teams in EWC Group Stage

The 2026 Fantasy Season has officially launched, offering players a chance to compete for a share of a $10,000 prize pool following the Singapore Major in December. With 32 teams and 160 players available for selection, participants can engage in strategic gameplay across four distinct groups.

Among the standout players is Jack "Gizmy" von Spreckelsen, who has become one of the most popular picks despite his team's lower ranking. His impressive performance in the open qualifiers, where he achieved the highest rating on his team, has contributed to his selection by many participants, making him the fourth most-picked player at a cost of $170k.

In contrast, Mathieu "ZywOo" Herbaut, Danil "donk" Kryshkovets, and Ilya "m0NESY" Osipov are all priced at $245k, with donk emerging as the community favorite, appearing on 27% of the teams in the competition.

The Fantasy Season also includes various rewards sponsored by Hellcase, such as exclusive skins for players, including Shadow Daggers and AK-47s, enhancing the competitive experience for participants. The playoffs will commence once the group stage concludes, adding another layer of excitement to the season.
