BIG Secures Spot in Esports World Cup, Aiming for Elite Status

BIG has successfully secured a place in the Esports World Cup after defeating Sashi with a score of 2-1. This victory comes during a qualifying run that has otherwise seen the team perform smoothly.

This event marks the second tournament of the season for BIG, following their participation in the XSE Pro League in China, where they finished in the 5th-8th range after a quarterfinal loss to PARIVISION. After a two-week break, the team resumed practice about a week before the EWC qualifiers began.

In a post-match interview, Jon "JDC" de Castro expressed that BIG is treating the EWC as a significant milestone, akin to a Major tournament. He noted the team's success in lower-tier competitions but emphasized the need to elevate their performance to compete at the highest levels.
