Gizmy Sets Sights on EWC Qualification with 100 Thieves

Jack "Gizmy" von Spreckelsen has taken the helm as the in-game leader for 100 Thieves, stepping in after the departure of Håvard "rain" Nygaard. Having previously been part of the Monte roster that competed at the IEM Cologne Major, Gizmy is now focused on guiding his new team through the competitive landscape, despite their current VRS ranking of No. 39, which limits their access to tier-one tournament invites.

In a recent interview, Gizmy expressed that the primary goal for 100 Thieves is to qualify for the Major, a sentiment shared by many teams in the tier-two region. After successfully progressing through the group stages of the EWC open qualifier, he remarked on the team's decent schedule, given their lack of top-tier invites.

Reflecting on their recent performances, Gizmy noted the team's back-to-back 2-0 victories, stating that it was important to maintain focus as they prepare for upcoming matches.
