HLTV Prospects Season 2 Sees Key Graduates from Rankings

The HLTV Prospects list is set to refresh as the new season approaches, with 31 players graduating from the rankings due to various criteria, including age and the number of maps played. Among these graduates, Džiugas "dziugss" Steponavičius stands out as the top prospect, finishing his tenure after a breakout season with FUT, where he surpassed the 50 Big Event map threshold.

Throughout the season, several players made significant impacts, with 12 graduates reaching the top 10 at some point. Notably, seven of these players graduated by exceeding 50 Big Event maps, while others achieved this milestone through their performances in top-tier matches. The former top-ranked player, Kacper "xKacpersky" Gabara, held the highest position early in the season before being overtaken by dziugss in April following FUT's success at the PGL Bucharest event.

Among the notable graduates are Dmytro "dem0n" Myroshnychenko, Aulon "Krabeni" Fazlija, and Nikita "cmtry" Samolotov, all of whom were teammates of dziugss at FUT. Additionally, Vladislav "xiELO" Lysov, who peaked at #3, and Emil "nota" Moskvitin, who reached #7, also graduated after playing significant roles in their teams' performances.

The mid-range graduates include Alan "flayy" Krupa and Adam "Grizz" Golden, both of whom turned 21, alongside several others who peaked within the top 30. Notably, Nikita "jackasmo" Skyba leaves with a strong showing, having accumulated 352 Top 50 maps during his time on the list.

As the new season begins, the bottom tier graduates mainly consist of players aging out, with many hailing from Asia and America. Nicky "NickyB" Bruhn and Yalalt "yAmi" Oyunbileg lead this group with five appearances each, marking the end of their time on the list.
