tacitus Appointed Head Coach of Imperial's CS Team
42 days agoImperial has officially announced the appointment of Marcos "tacitus" Castilho as the new head coach for their Counter-Strike team. He takes over the role following the departure of Rafael "zakk" Fernandes in mid-June.
Before joining Imperial, tacitus had been without a coaching position since February, when he was let go by Fluxo after nearly two years. His replacement at Fluxo was Gustavo "Juve" Alexandre, known for his previous work with Into the Breach.
Imperial began the current season on a strong note, securing victories in their first two tournaments, the CCT 2026 South America Series 3 and the Thunderpick World Championship 2026 South America Series 2. However, their performance has since declined.
The team faced setbacks, finishing as runners-up to Fluxo in the BetBoom RUSH B Summit Season 4 and being eliminated in the Round of 16 by BESTIA Academy during the CCT 2026 South America Series 4. Additionally, they ended up in 5th-6th place in the closed qualifier for the StarLadder StarSeries Fall in South America.
The current roster includes players Marcelo "chelo" Cespedes, Vinicius "VINI" Figueiredo, Lucas "decenty" Bacelar, Kaiky "noway" Santos, and Guilherme "saadzin" Pacheco, while Guilherme "levi" Gustavo and Felipe "skullz" Medeiros are currently benched.
