MOUZ Claims BLAST Bounty Season 2 Title, Defeats Spirit 3-1

MOUZ has emerged as the champions of the BLAST Bounty 2026 Season 2 after defeating Spirit 3-1 in Malta. Dorian "xertioN" Berman humorously noted on the official broadcast that no team can beat MOUZ eight times consecutively, celebrating the end of Spirit's winning streak against them.

This victory marks MOUZ's first trophy since the PGL Cluj-Napoca event 17 months ago and serves as a promising start for Oldřich "PR" Nový, who has returned to the Hamburg-based organization from NXT.

In the initial two maps, Spirit struggled significantly, with Danil "donk" Kryshkovets failing to find his rhythm, reminiscent of his previous performance against FaZe in the semifinals. Notably, on Mirage, donk experienced an unusual performance, finishing five maps in a row with a negative kill/death ratio as MOUZ surged to a 2-0 lead.

However, Spirit showed resilience on Ancient, a map where they had previously enjoyed a seven-map winning streak. Donk rebounded to help secure a victory on Nuke, coming back from a 6-9 deficit to force a fourth map.

The match saw intense exchanges, particularly on Nuke, where the teams were tied at 7-7 after the half. MOUZ eventually gained control, with Lotan "Spinx" Giladi delivering a stellar performance that included a quad-kill to secure map point and ultimately the match.

Spinx was instrumental in MOUZ's success, leading in ratings across all maps in the grand final. He achieved a series rating of 1.54, highlighted by a remarkable 1.91 on Dust2 and a solid 1.41 on Nuke, contributing significantly to his team's triumph.
