FISSURE Playground 3 Relocates to Suzhou, China

FISSURE has confirmed the relocation of FISSURE Playground 3 to Suzhou, China, a city with a population of 12 million, situated 90 kilometers west of Shanghai. This change comes after the event was initially scheduled for Shenzhen.

The tournament, which features a prize pool of $1,250,000 and will include 16 participating teams, is set to occur at the SND Cultural and Sports Centre from September 8-13.

In addition to the venue change, FISSURE has announced a strategic partnership with GGMEDIA, a Shanghai-based media production company. This collaboration aims to enhance the esports landscape in China.

The partnership is expected to pave the way for annual Tier 1 tournaments in China, further integrating the local esports community with the global competitive scene, according to FISSURE.
