Official | Union Saint-Gilloise sign Lens goalkeeper Hervé Koffi on loan
2026-08-01Belgian side Union Saint-Gilloise have signed Lens goalkeeper Hervé Koffi (29) on loan from RC Lens, both clubs have announced. The 29-year-old Burkina Faso international has joined on a one-year loan with an option to buy. Koffi is making a return to Belgium after making more than 100 appearances for Mouscron and Charleroi.
Last season, Koffi played for Lens’ Ligue 1 rivals Angers SCO. He had a stellar season with Les Scoïstes, keeping ten clean sheets. “I am very happy and proud to become a Union player today. I have played against the club several times in the past and it always felt like a real family to me. I’m delighted to now be part of that family”, Koffi said.
