Victor Wembanyama Unveils Refurbished Basketball Court in Nanterre

The San Antonio Spurs recently celebrated the opening of a newly renovated basketball court in Nanterre, France, with a special event featuring Spurs player Victor Wembanyama. This initiative is part of the 'Play Paris' program, which aims to inspire young athletes and provide safe, accessible spaces for play across France.

The event included a youth basketball clinic and was attended by R. C. Buford, who participated in the ribbon-cutting ceremony and the unveiling of the court's logo. The 'Play Paris' initiative, launched in 2025, focuses on creating opportunities for youth to engage with basketball and build community connections.

The newly designed court showcases the colors of Nanterre 92, featuring a distinctive green and black scheme. It is open to the public and will serve as a venue for various activities, including tournaments and youth clinics, promoting free play among local residents.
