Cameron Norrie showcased his impressive form at the Los Cabos Open, defeating Bernard Tomic in a commanding performance that lasted only 50 minutes. The fifth-seeded British player overwhelmed his Australian opponent with a score of 6-1, 6-0, securing his spot in the semi-finals of the tournament held in Mexico.

Norrie's victory marked a significant turnaround in his season, as he had previously endured a six-match losing streak. Since arriving in Mexico, he has rebounded with three consecutive straight-set wins, following an initial victory over Aleksandar Kovacevic and a comeback against James Duckworth.
