Spurs Host Annual Back to School Bash for Local Families

Spurs Sports & Entertainment (SS&E) is set to host its fifth annual Back to School Bash at the Frost Bank Center on Saturday, August 8, from 12 to 3 p.m. This event is designed to provide free school supplies and resources to parents, students, and teachers in grades K-12, while supplies last.

Registration is required for attendance, and families are encouraged to participate. The event will feature information booths covering school enrollment, extracurricular activities, mental health support, and various family support services.

Patricia Mejia, Chief Impact & Inclusion Officer at SS&E, emphasized the importance of the event, stating that it aims to ensure every student starts the school year equipped with the necessary tools and confidence. She expressed gratitude to the partners who contribute to making this initiative possible, helping thousands of young people prepare for a successful academic year.

Parents or guardians must accompany their children, and educators are required to present their teacher ID upon arrival. Supplies and services will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis, underscoring the need for early attendance.
