Kursy Embraces New Role as Rifler with 3DMAX
46 days ago3DMAX has made a significant roster change by bringing in Jeremy "Kursy" Gast, previously of GamerLegion, to replace Pierre "Ex3rcice" Bulinge. Unlike his former role as an AWPer, Kursy will now take on a rifling position, a shift he is both excited about and still adapting to.
At 24 years old, Kursy expressed his eagerness to return to competitive play after nearly a year away from the server. He noted that he has always wanted to play and feels great to be back, aiming to showcase his skills in this new role.
Despite having participated in four tournaments already, Kursy acknowledged the challenges of adjusting to his new position with limited practice time. He admitted that while he enjoys the change, he recognizes the need for ongoing improvement and understanding of his role.
Kursy reflected on his time at GamerLegion, stating that he struggled to perform at his best. He feels more comfortable with the rifle and welcomed the opportunity to play in this capacity with 3DMAX. He aims to gain consistency in his performance as he continues to learn and adapt.
Being part of a French team has also eased his transition, allowing him to communicate effectively and grow within the team dynamic. Kursy emphasized that this cultural familiarity has been beneficial in his development as a player.
