EWC 2026 Grand Final Set for Accor Arena in Paris

The Esports World Cup (EWC) has announced that its Championship Sunday will be held at the Accor Arena in Paris, a venue previously used for the BLAST.tv Major Paris. This decision comes as a result of the tournament's relocation from Riyadh due to the ongoing conflict in Iran, which prompted organizers to seek a more secure location.

The EWC, which typically takes place in Riyadh, will still host the majority of its events at the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles. However, after a rapid sell-out of tickets for the grand final, the capacity for the final day has been expanded to accommodate more fans at the iconic Accor Arena.

The tournament boasts a prize pool of $2 million and features 32 teams competing in CS2, with four teams qualifying through an open LAN qualifier. The playoffs will see 16 teams vying for the championship, culminating in the grand final scheduled for August 23.

Currently, Natus Vincere leads the rankings with a chance to secure a $7 million payout if they maintain their position. Vitality and Falcons are also in the mix, sitting in third and sixth place, respectively, as the competition heats up.
