50 days agoIn a surprising turn of events, Spirit has emerged as the only top 10 team to qualify for the BLAST Bounty 2026 Season 2 Finals. The team successfully advanced from the online stage, while other highly ranked squads such as Falcons, Vitality, and FURIA faced elimination.
The competition also saw new rosters for Aurora and G2, both of which failed to secure a spot in the finals. The second-highest ranked team heading to Malta is MOUZ, currently positioned at number 11 in the world rankings.
The MongolZ managed to qualify despite recent roster changes, while FaZe is looking to earn valuable VRS points on LAN after missing the Cologne Major. Astralis, now under the guidance of new coach Filip "NEO" Kubski, also secured a place in the finals alongside paiN and 3DMAX.
In a notable performance, Liquid made headlines with their new in-game leader Johnny "JT" Theodosiou and AWPer Georgi "Jorko" Mitev, achieving a decisive 2-0 victory over both Vitality and G2.
The matchups for the finals will be revealed during a live draft show scheduled to take place in Malta later this week.
