Liquid Dominates G2 to Reach BLAST Bounty Finals in Malta

Team Liquid has secured their spot in the finals of the BLAST Bounty 2026 Season 2, set to take place in Malta next week, following a dominant performance against G2. The newly revamped roster, featuring Johnny "JT" Theodosiou and Georgi "Jorko" Mitev, showcased their strength by defeating both Vitality and G2 without losing a single map.

In his debut with Liquid, Jorko impressed with an average rating of 1.29 during the online phase. His exceptional play was evident as he maintained a 1.24 rating against Vitality and continued to shine against G2, particularly on Mirage where he, alongside Jonathan "EliGE" Jablonowski, consistently disrupted G2's strategies.

Liquid's performance was marked by a strong team effort, especially on Anubis, where they managed to secure a convincing victory despite losing both pistol rounds. In contrast, G2 struggled throughout the tournament, with their newest addition, Artem "r1nkle" Moroz, finishing at the bottom of the team with a rating of 0.91. G2's disappointing exit was highlighted by their inability to secure more than 11 rounds across two maps against Liquid.
