FaZe Secures First Spot in BLAST Bounty Finals After Victory Over DENDELE

FaZe has officially claimed the first spot in the LAN finals of the BLAST Bounty 2026 Season 2 after a 2-1 victory over DENDELE in the Round of 16. The finals are set to take place next week from July 30 to August 2 at BLAST's studio in Malta, where they will be joined by seven other teams determined over the weekend.

In the opening match, Jason "JBOEN" Boe Nielsen showcased an exceptional performance, finishing the first map on Nuke with an impressive 19-1 scoreline. His efforts were pivotal in establishing FaZe's dominance early in the match, as they quickly took control of the game.

Jakub "jcobbb" Pietruszewski also made significant contributions, leading his team with an average rating of 1.40 throughout the series. He delivered a crucial 1v3 clutch during the first half of Cache, which helped maintain FaZe's momentum against the Brazilian side.

DENDELE, formerly known as Sharks before their recent rebranding, entered the match with confidence after an upset victory over FURIA the previous night. However, they struggled to find their rhythm against FaZe, particularly in the early stages of the match, where FaZe's early aggression paid off.

Despite facing a tough start, DENDELE made a commendable effort to recover in Mirage, managing to contest FaZe's strategies with effective A splits. However, critical plays from FaZe's players in key moments ultimately secured their victory and a place in the finals.
