Celtics Extend Jordan Walsh's Contract for Three More Years

The Boston Celtics have reportedly reached an agreement with Jordan Walsh for a three-year contract extension valued at $16 million. This deal, confirmed by NBA TV's Chris Haynes, includes the exercise of Walsh's $2.4 million team option for the 2026-27 season, extending his contract through the 2029-30 season with a team option for that final year.

Walsh, who was selected in the second round of the 2023 NBA Draft from Arkansas, has shown significant potential during his first three seasons. The extension guarantees him approximately $12.7 million over the next three years, a favorable arrangement for the Celtics as they continue to develop their young roster.

Last season, Walsh played a key role for the Celtics, appearing in 68 games and starting 25, while averaging 5.4 points and 4.0 rebounds in 17.8 minutes per game.
