Blue Jays Acquire Outfielder Rudy Martin from Orioles

In a recent roster move, the Toronto Blue Jays have acquired outfielder Rudy Martin off waivers from the Baltimore Orioles. This transaction comes shortly after the Orioles had obtained Martin in a trade with the Kansas City Royals, only to designate him for assignment soon after.

Martin, a left-handed hitter, is 30 years old and has yet to make his major league debut. His performance in Triple-A has been notable, boasting a batting line of .284/.414/.441, with eight home runs, 33 walks, and 41 strikeouts over 244 plate appearances.
